Nestled into the extreme duality of cannabis legalization my head is on a pillow of a legislative yin and yang. My service has been actualized on the Palouse border between Idaho, the Pacific Northwest's last conservative prohibitionist state, and Washington, where adult use cannabis is legal for purchase only seven miles away. As the creator and host of Compassionate Cannabis Radio in the University town of Moscow, the founding director of our now 3rd annual Boise Hempfest, and a feature author for the CannaBiz Journal, I diligently utilize every available resource to propel forward a voice of truth, science, and reason. In the face of egregious judgment and a public opinion that changes ever too slowly the community suffers laws created to perpetuate personal gain and sustain a bias wealth. Building from volunteer roots words are the platform in which we will motivate compassionate change. Through knowledge and the education of reason we may actualize a world that rebukes the suffering of others and accepts the natural truth in one plants wisdom. |
