As already touched upon, the three most important things in your marijuana plants life are water, carbon dioxide and light. If you provide your plants with optimum levels of each, it really isn’t necessary to use time-lapse photography to see them grow. Quite literally, you can see them growing with the naked eye – often as rapidly as 2 inches per day.

But at the same time, this doesn’t mean you can take their tenacity for granted as any deviation in terms of what they need can have dire consequences. This means providing proper lighting of sufficient quality, exactly how much water is required, temperature stability at the right level and an ideally suited substrate to nurture strong root development. Nutrients must be delivered in the form of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen, along with plenty of micro-nutrients and macro-nutrients to encourage strong growth.
