As far as the government of Mexico is concerned, however, the solution could lie in revisiting policy – marijuana in particular. Politicians generally tend to agree that by decriminalizing and perhaps even making cannabis more readily available, they will take a great deal of power from the hands of the infamous cartels that terrorize much of the nation. In any case, all the signs are pointing towards a future where attitudes to cannabis from a legal perspective are considerably more liberal.
