Some insist it was attached using leaves, others hemp rope and some say it was just sticky enough to stick itself. However, it’s also rumoured that opium was originally used to attach the buds to the sticks, which might be why most true connoisseurs with a taste for Thai Stick insist that it just hasn’t been nearly the same since the 80s. Where you can find it these days, it’s almost certainly not the real deal.
